Fix Windows 7 Search Index error “No items match your search”

Today i got very annoying bug in windows 7 search. Suddenly i can’t find many files on certain folders. After one hour of googling and fiddling with options, finally i get the fix.

here what i do to Fix Windows 7 Search Index error “No items match your search”.
1. Open “Windows Explorer”.
2. Click on “Organize”, then “Folder and search options”.

3. On this new window, click “Search” tab, and make the option looks EXACTLY like this screenshot.

4. Click OK. Now the windows 7 search should work correctly.

There is no screenshot as you mention in item 3. Please explain what the option look like.

Thanks for the info,

but it’s only working on the Computer folder, not working in the Library. The Library still result “No items match your search” Any help?

  on the start menu.
